For the first day of Children’s Mental Health Week, children have started making dream catchers and the younger children made pop up teds in a bed. We also discussed the importance of sleep and how it can impact many parts of our health and life. We also made fruit pizza's for the children to eat at break time to help fuel our bodies with nutrients. We ended the day by eating biscuits and drinking milk whilst listening to a story.
Day 2 of our Children's Mental Health Week and we focused on mindfulness taking part in a live yoga story and then discussing the ways that can help us to grow.
Day 3 of our Children's Mental Health Week and the children have been learning more about The Zones of Regulation that we use across school to support them with their feelings and emotions. At break time the children enjoyed healthy fruit kebabs which went down a treat!
