School Day and Timings

The Department for Education's white paper 'Opportunity for all: strong schools with great teachers for your child' sets an expectation that all state-funded mainstream schools will deliver a minimum length of school week of 32.5 hours as soon as they can, and from September 2023 at the latest. Milton Court Primary Academy meets this requirement by operating a 6.5 hour school day for 190 days of the year, with a 32.5hr school week, except for weeks with INSET days or bank holidays. The tables below show the timings of the school day.
