Milton Court Nursery, part of Milton Court Primary Academy, is a purpose designed, spacious Nursery consisting of two rooms with kitchen and toilet facilities and an outside area exclusively for the use of children in the Early Years. Our preschool room is for children in the year before they move to reception class. Our Nursery room is for the younger children.
Our well trained, enthusiastic and experienced staff team will ensure your child has the opportunity to participate in a range of stimulating and engaging learning experiences that are planned around the children's needs and interests. The Nursery is overseen by a qualified teacher.

Our Nursery Aims
Our Aim is to provide a warm, happy and fun learning environment where the children can develop at their own pace with guidance and encouragement from our staff. We provide different learning experiences through different areas of play in our nursery which allows the children to explore through child initiated play and adult led play. The children are encouraged to become independent, confident and responsible.
The children have access to the outside learning area at all times. A recent addition of a new canopy allows the children to enjoy outdoor facilities all year round, whatever the weather.
Tapestry
We understand the importance of working in partnership with our parents to ensure the children get the best start to their education. At Milton Court we use ‘Tapestry’ which is an easy-to-use and secure online learning journal helping nursery staff and families celebrate each child's learning and development. Tapestry builds a very special record of a child's experiences, development and learning journey through their early years.
We prepare the children for their Reception year at school, giving them the opportunity to access a variety of resources and facilities and to be involved in the main life of the school.
