Our Safeguarding Vision
At Milton Court Primary Academy we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All adults working in school are required to complete a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Enhanced Police Check and all personnel receive regular training in safeguarding the welfare of children.
Parents and carers should be aware that the school will take any reasonable action to ensure the safety of its pupils. In cases where a member of staff has reason to be concerned that a child may be subject to significant harm, ill-treatment, neglect, emotional or other forms of abuse, staff have no alternative and will follow the advice and child protection procedures of the Kent Safeguarding Children Board (KSCB) and inform Social Care of any concerns.
We listen to our pupils and take seriously what they tell us. Our aim is that children will enjoy their time as pupils at this school and therefore make the best progress possible. You can discuss concerns about your child with your child’s class teacher but if you have concerns about another child you can contact the following designated staff in our school:
